Turns out this comfort with driving even applies when literally behind the wheel of high-powered car   a place she found herself when she went to race driving school so she could work with the Target/Chip Ganassi Racing organization.\n\nLuckily\, she came away from the experience unscathed and under her leadership\, Tunheim Partners has grown to be one of Minnesota's largest communications agencies. Kathy also serves as Global President of IPREX\, a worldwide network of leading independent public relations firms.\n\nIn 1990\, Kathy left her position as vice president of corporate communications and internal communications at Honeywell to found Tunheim Santrizos Company. Prior to Honeywell\, she served as assistant press secretary to Wendell Anderson during his terms as governor of Minnesota and his term as U.S. Senator from Minnesota. Kathy is on the boards of a wide variety of civic organizations and is active in many professional organizations.\n\nIn addition to racing school\, Kathy attended the University of Minnesota\, where she studied political science.
