Jun 30 - Jul 1 Motorcycle - Basic Rider Training |
This Basic Rider Course offers the most complete motorcycle training available. Students must complete 14.5 hours of integrated instruction: 4.5 hours in the classroom and 10 hours of practice on a training motorcycle.
This course is divided into two phases: Level I concentrates on motorcycle familiarization, clutch control, throttle control, riding posture, and the four basic skills: straight-line riding, turning, smooth shifting, and stopping quickly.
Level II includes limited-space maneuvers, counter-steering, cornering, and swerving. While no previous motorcycle riding experience is required, it can be beneficial. Students must be able to ride a bicycle and must possess a valid driver's license or motor vehicle instruction permit.
100% attendance is necessary for certification.
- Under Age 18: Minnesota law requires anyone under age 18 to pass an approved rider training course. Must have drivers instructional permit or drivers license in order to take this Basic Rider Course. Upon completion of course, you will receive 2 cards to take to exam station to take written motorcycle permit test and skills portion thereafter.
- Age 18 years or older: Minnesota residents must have written motorcycle permit before coming to class. Upon completing class and skills test, you'll receive endorsement to take to exam center.
- Wisconsin residents do not need motorcycle permit before attending class.
Each student must furnish his or her own protective clothing and DOT-approved helmet. Motorcycles are provided
Clothing includes: Eye protection, long pants and sleeves, full fingered gloves, and shoes or boots that cover your ankles.
You will not be allowed to ride if you do not have these items.

Jul 23 Kevin Aubin's Master Classes |
Kevin Aubin's Biography:
Kevin started his training at a local jazz studio alongside Miami City
Ballet. At the age of 15, he moved to NYC and attended the highly
esteemed School of American Ballet. Throughout his training at SAB he had the opportunity to perform with the New York City Ballet in several performances Choreographed by Eliot Field for his NYCB debut of Organon. Kevin performed throughout Europe with the tour West Side Story, danced in Japan and Orlando for Disney, and performed for the Christmas Spectacular at the Radio City Music Hall in NYC featuring the Rockettes. Kevin has taught Master Classes and Workshops throughout the United States and South America. He originated the role of Paulo in the award winning New York Musical Festival production Common Grounds Off-Broadway in NYC. Kevin has performed on Broadway with Wicked (Joe Mantello/Wayne Cilento/Corinne McFadden-Herrera), Hot Feet (Maurice Hines), & Spiderman Turn Off the Dark (Julie Taymor/Daniel Ezralow). Kevin was part of the creation team and a featured dancer for the Golden Globe, best picture nominee film, Across the Universe, where he spent several months working along
side Oscar winning Director Julie Taymor and acclaimed choreographer Daniel Ezralow. You can see Kevin as a featured dancer in the films Bolden, Old Dogs featuring John Travolta, Robin Willams, Bernie Mac, Seth Green, and Winters Tale featuring Will Smith and Colin Farrell. Kevin performed several times with the Today Show (NBC), Comedy Central with Ben Stiller, The David Letterman Show, multiple performances on Dancing With The Stars with Carmen Electra, and performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Kevin was a lead in a National Truth Anti-Smoking commercial, modeled for DKNY in Teen People Magazine, and was a fitness model for Time Out Magazine in NYC. Kevin is currently co-owner and Creative Director of Intrigue Dance Intensive. |

Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 8:30-2:00 come on out for a meal and the opportunity to drive a new Ford vehicle at the Winona Mall. Every car driven grants Hope Harbor $20 as a donation from Sugar Loaf Ford. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at HyVee or Midtown in advance or day of event.
