Lunchtime Learning - How Good Businesses Slowly Go Bad

Lunchtime Learning - How Good Businesses Slowly Go Bad

Guest Speaker: Bill English, M.A., M.Div., L.P., CPBPM
Understand and fix the most common owner mistakes that slowly kill most small businesses

  • Learn if your business is exhibiting the warning signs that lead to failure
  • Learn why business owners often ignore the warning signs until it is too late to save the business
  • Learn how your persona affects your business, for good or ill
  • Take home practical tools that you can use the same day to get your business on the path to long-term success

About Bill English, M.A., M.Div., L.P., CPBPM
Bill English is a former business owner of a national training company that grew to $9M/year in sales in it's first five years of existence. It was a great business with the right people on the bus sitting in the right seats. In spite of this, over the next six years, Bill had to right-size his business twice and eventually sold it at the end of 2014. He didn’t understand the warning signs in his own business until it was too late.
Drawing on his experience as a business owner who has been through the ups and downs of ownership, Bill speaks on the characteristics of good businesses that are slowly going bad to help other business owners solve their most important problems before it is too late.

In addition, as a Minnesota Psychologist, Bill connects the persona and emotions of being a business owner to the ebb and flow of the business itself. Understanding yourself forms the core of how you should run your business.
